MAYDAN VILLA COMPOUND

About the project

As part of a special competition for Dubai’s Meydan area, where all of the buildings would have to be the biggest in the world, Shawa Architecture worked on several designs: a mall, an entertainment centre, activity parks, and this villa compound. The smooth futuristic outer mass has a peculiar shape that is meant to reduce the heat coming from the sun as well as limit the sun rays reaching the windows.
