AL YARMOOK TOWER GYM

About the project

The project is an existing health club in a residential tower, however the facilities became outdated and were no longer in use. The new design went through multiple stages and certain walls were removed in order to revamp the space planning. All the areas were re-designed and new functions were given where necessary. Now the overall project consists of a gym, two studio apartments, entertainment hall, kids area and pool area.

Concept

In this design we used gray, white and orange as the dominant colors. Color gray is timeless and practical, it does not tire the eye. It is essential in this industrial style design and goes perfectly with white and orange. When it comes to white, in color psychology it is the color of new beginnings, wiping the slate clean which is usually the idea and mindset that people come to the gym with, be it in the morning starting the day fresh or after work, willing to unwind. Bits of orange are added to create a dynamic active and happy environment as it is associated with joy and sunshine. It mainly represents enthusiasm, fascination, determination, success, encouragement and stimulation, which makes it perfect for a gym area.
